Award Objectives

• Recognize outstanding logging contractor performance.

• Increase the visibility of competent Qualified Logging Professional contractors.

• Encourage peers to emulate the outstanding performance of award winners

• Improve forester-logger-landowner relations by publicly recognizing outstanding logging performance as an essential element of every planned timber harvest.

Award Eligibility

• Candidate must be a Qualified Logging Professional from a program recognized by the WASIC.

• Candidate must operate within Washington State in the year nominated.

• Candidate must be in good standing with state regulating agencies.

• Candidate must be nominated or co-sponsored by a WASIC member.
